Blackstone Delivers New Website for USDA’s Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS)
Arlington, Virginia – November 24 2015 – Blackstone Technology Group, a privately-held global IT and business consulting firm, is proud to announce the launch of the newly redesigned USDA AMS site, www.ams.usda.gov. Blackstone’s Federal Services practice worked with AMS to develop the site and migrate content onto a Drupal platform.
AMS is responsible for the administration of programs that facilitate the efficient, fair marketing of U.S. agricultural products.
The redesigned site and enhanced user experience will increase transparency and improve stakeholder access to AMS information. The site’s responsive design makes it easy to use on mobile devices.
“We revamped our website to make it more user-friendly and responsive to the needs of our many stakeholders,” said AMS Administrator Anne L. Alonzo. “Whether you are looking for information about our services, want to comment on proposed regulations, or are interested in selling food to USDA, our new website makes it easier to find the right information and tools.”
“We are extremely proud to have helped AMS execute its mission and improve services to the farming community through this revamped web site. We measure our success in terms of our client’s and AMS is a winner,” said Don Page, Executive Director of Blackstone Technology Group’s Federal Practice.
